Internship & Fellowship Opportunities

Come join a campaign to elect a Reform Democrat. Well-qualified students with a passion for civic engagement and local politics are welcome to apply to our Campaign Internship and Fellowship.

Endorsed by The New York Times for his “fresh ideas” and elected in 2013, Ben Kallos grew up on the Upper East Side with his grandparents who fled anti-Semitism and Europe and his mother who still lives here. As your Council Member he has won 400 pre-k seats, secured $150 million for the East River Esplanade, brought SBS to the M79 & M86, won 79 new M15 buses, cleaned up the neighborhood with 300 new trash cans, banned outside income and “legal bribery” in the Council, investigated the Rivington nursing home scandal, won two rent freezes, and continues to fight the Marine Transfer Station. Join his open office monthly for First Friday, Brainstorm with Ben, or gather ten neighbors for Ben In Your Building.
